Simple Practice (HIPPA - Compliant Electronic Medical Record and Telemedicine communication platform), will be utilized to securely manage Protected health information (PHI). Simple Practice EMR will be utilized by patients of Pacific Gardens Behavioral, to complete forms or send secure messages containing PHI directly to our services, by accessing the Simple Practice Patient portal. Access to the Simple Practice Patient Portal will be granted after receiving a direct invitation email from Pacific Gardens Behavioral. Each visit will be documented in Simple Practice EMR after patients have accepted initial invitation and set up a user profile. No protected health information will be disclosed to any entity without the written consent of the patient except in situations when federal or state law mandates disclosure of a patient’s protected health information. This will be reviewed at the patient’s first visit. Only after the first documented visit will an individual be considered a patient of Pacific Gardens Behavioral.

Pacific Gardens Behavioral is dedicated to protecting patient’s personal health information. Simple Practice (HIPPA - Compliant Electronic Medical Record), will be utilized to securely communicate and manage patients health information after care is established. Patients should utilize the Simple Practice Patient portal, when communicating with Pacific Gardens Behavioral patients when providing / exchanging information containing protected health information (PHI).
All services provided by Pacific Gardens Behavioral follow the terms of the Notice of Privacy Practices. Pacific Gardens Behavioral specializes in providing behavioral health care to healthcare workers, first responders, and law enforcement*. Pacific Gardens Behavioral is a comprehensive private tele-behavioral health practice that focuses on providing tailored mental health for individuals. In order to ensure discreet, professional, individualized and comprehensive care to each patient at the highest level of personalized treatment, insurance is not accepted. Patients can be provided a super bill that may submitted to an individual’s insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. However, Pacific Gardens Behavioral does not guarantee, and is not responsible in any way for, insurance reimbursement.

Insomnia (often treated with controlled sleep medications like Ambien, Lunesta, Sonata, etc)
Eating disorders (anorexia, binging/purging)
Alcohol or substance use/addiction/abuse/withdraws
Any other condition or set of symptoms deemed by Pacific Gardens Behavioral provider(s) at any point to be severe enough to need a higher level of care
